LRC Delivery Services

Delivery Available

For those who don’t own or have access to a truck or trailer, the LRC offers a fee- based delivery service for our materials to be delivered to customers within a 35-mile radius from our facilities.  There is an minimum material purchase requirement, plus a delivery fee charge for each delivery request.  

Once your request is reviewed, we will contact you to complete the order by taking the payment over the phone and arranging for a delivery date. This is the only payment method that we currently accept.

Please be aware that we use a large delivery truck. A clear space of 15 feet high and 10 feet wide will be required for the drop zone. Dumped material may form a windrow as wide as 12 feet. Deliveries will not be dropped under overhead utilities if raised truck bed is within 10 feet of a utility line.

To request a delivery you have options:

***Cancellation of Order***

Customers that submit any order for delivery, agrees and understands that the Delivery Fee is non-refundable for any orders that is cancelled after 7 days from payment for the order.  By submitting an order for delivery you are acknowledging and agreeing that the full Delivery Fee will be forfeited if you choose to cancel your order any time before it is delivered.  If a customer cancels an order that has not been delivered, a refund will be issued from the City of Urbana, Illinois in the form of a check and mailed to the customer, minus the non-refundable Delivery Fee.  Any order that have been delivered, the Product purchased amount and delivery fee are both non-refundable for the material that has been delivered.

***During our peak season March - June, our deliveries become booked up for 30 days or more.  Be advised that placing an order may have a wait time of 30 days or more for delivery.

Delivery Zones and Fees

Delivery zones and Non-refundable fees are calculated by distance from the LRC.

Delivery Distance

  • 0-2        mile radius of LRC

  • 3-12      mile radius of LRC

  • 13-25    mile radius of LRC

Delivery Fee

= $40.00

Other Delivery Rules

  • All deliveries must be prepaid before they are added to the delivery schedule.

  • Orders that are cancelled for will forfeit the delivery fee

  • Delivery fees and cost of product are non-refundable.

  • Delivery driver will not drive off of pavement or across yards.

  • All products will be dumped on the driveway only and cannot block a sidewalk or right of way. Driveways must have unobstructed access from above and on all sides to allow delivery truck to raise the dump bed. A clear space of 15 feet high and 10 feet wide are required for the drop zone. Dumped material may form a windrow as wide as 12 feet. Deliveries will not be dropped under overhead utilities if raised truck bed is within 10 feet of utility line.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there is proper clearance for delivery truck to drop off material. If there is any question as to proper clearance, the driver will make the final determination about whether or not material is dropped in the requested location. No refunds will be provided if there is insufficient space to make delivery.

  • You will receive delivery on your scheduled day (rain or shine). If you need to reschedule, you must contact the LRC at least 2 days prior to the delivery date. We will only reschedule 1 time due to the demands of our delivery schedule.

  • In the event of mechanical or personnel difficulty, we will make every effort to contact you to reschedule your delivery for the first available delivery date.

  • The LRC does not deliver split firewood or street pavers.

Currently we are ONLY able to deliver ONE TYPE of material per load. If you are needing multiple material deliveries please submit PDF for from above via Email.

**If you are requesting more than the maximum per load, the remaining amount will need to meet the required minimum for the second load. You will be required to pay the delivery fee for each load.
